Who we are
Albamind LLC ("Albamind," "we," "us") is a software studio based in Connecticut, USA, operating the website at albamind.io. This policy explains what personal information we collect on this site, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.
Information we collect
- Information you give us through the contact form: your name, email address, project type, optional budget range, and the message you write.
- Information collected automatically: a hashed version of your IP address (so we can prevent spam without storing the IP itself) and your browser's user-agent string.
We do not use third-party advertising trackers, analytics that profile individuals, or fingerprinting. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and discuss potential work.
- To prevent abuse of the contact form (spam, automated submissions).
- If we work together, to deliver the services you've engaged us for.
We will not use your contact-form information to send marketing emails unless you've separately opted into a list (we don't have one yet).
Where it lives
How long we keep it
We keep contact-form submissions for as long as needed to respond and, if we engage, for the duration of our working relationship plus a reasonable period (typically up to two years) for tax and bookkeeping. You can ask us to delete them earlier — see "your rights" below.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of that information.
- Correct inaccurate information.
- Ask us to delete information we no longer need to keep.
- Opt out of any processing (we don't currently do anything that requires opt-out, but you can still ask).
To exercise any of these rights, email albamindllc@gmail.com from the email address you originally used. We'll respond within 30 days.
Connecticut residents have specific rights under the Connecticut Data Privacy Act (CTDPA). California residents have rights under the CCPA/CPRA. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. The process above covers all of them.
Cookies
We don't currently set any first-party cookies for tracking or advertising. Our hosting (Vercel) may set technical cookies necessary for the site to function — those are governed by Vercel's privacy policy.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the "last updated" date above. Material changes will also be flagged on the homepage for a reasonable period.
