About Albamind

Two people, one mantis, a lot of code.

Albamind LLC is a small Connecticut studio run by Edwin and Jenni Alba. We're full-stack developers who use generative AI as a force-multiplier — what people are starting to call "vibe coding" — to build software faster than a small team should be able to.

The two of us

We're husband and wife. We've spent careers in spreadsheets and operations before turning the same instinct toward shipping software.

Co-founder · The grounded one

Edwin's background is in data management. He's the practical half of Albamind — the one who keeps projects on the rails, runs the marketing side, and makes sure shipped means shipped.

Jenni Alba

Co-founder · The creative one

Jenni came up in administration, where she developed an eye for the small things that make systems feel right. She drives the creative direction at Albamind — UX, brand, and the bits people actually feel when they use what we build.

The mascot

Why a praying mantis, obviously.

Connecticut's state insect is the praying mantis. We live here, we like it here, and we wanted a mascot that meant something more than another generic tech mark.

The mantis is patient. It doesn't move much. When it does move, it's exact. That's the working pace we want with our clients — calm, deliberate, no busywork — and it happens to fit how we actually ship.
